In August 2022, Meg was out to lunch with her coworker CJ—aka Cupid—when he casually mentioned that his roommate was single. He showed Meg a photo, and she approved! A few days later, Ryan followed Meg on Instagram and slid into her DMs with the now-famous line: “We should go out and slam some tequila sometime.” Meg replied, “We definitely should!!! I’m down.” Their first date was on September 8, 2022, at Deck 12 on the YOTEL rooftop in Boston Seaport. Ryan was fashionably late thanks to Boston traffic (30 minutes, but who’s counting?), and Meg graciously let it slide. True to Ryan’s word, they did indeed “slam some tequila” and instantly hit it off. Over the next couple of months, Meg and Ryan continued going on dates, including Meg’s very first New England Patriots game (reluctantly, as a lifelong New York Giants fan, never forget Super Bowls XLII and XLVI). On November 10, 2022, Meg brought Ryan as her plus-one to a Boston Red Sox work event. Afterward, they strolled along the Seaport waterfront, and right in front of Lembo family favorite Mastro’s Restaurant, Ryan asked Meg to be his girlfriend. Spoiler alert: she said yes. Since then, Meg and Ryan have filled their days with skiing, adventuring to new destinations, marathon-running, marathon-spectating/chasing, and spending quality time with family and friends. Their biggest adventure came in October 2024, when they began fostering dogs, and ended up adopting the love of their lives, their sweet pup Lucy Lu. She quickly became their entire world. On March 8, 2025, Ryan told Meg he was at a brewery with Lucy Lu and his friend Chaz, while Meg’s friend Sammy invited her out for drinks in Seaport. When Meg arrived, she was surprised to see Ryan and Lucy Lu waiting to ask her the most important question of all. It was the easiest “yes”—and even more special with Lucy there to witness it! Meg and Ryan can’t wait to celebrate their next chapter with all of you in the White Mountains—a place that holds so many of their favorite memories skiing, snowboarding, and simply being together.

We highly recommend you stay onsite at the resort as we will not be providing off resort transportation. This newly constructed home based on our best-selling&nbsp;Nano’s&nbsp;feature a master bedroom, bathroom, full kitchen, and a spacious living room with a pull-out couch and fireplace. Option 6: Lafayette Lodge King Room&nbsp;Max: 2 guests&nbsp;We have two available options from our Lafayette Lodge, this is our King Room option which has one king-sized bed. Everything within the rooms is brand new and you will love the modern look of the bathrooms. Enjoy the view and make some brew.&nbsp;

Option 7: Lafayette Lodge Queen Room&nbsp;Max: 2 – 4 guests&nbsp;We have two available options from our Lafayette Lodge, this is our Queen Room option which has two queen-sized beds. Each room has a porch that has a table and chairs for outdoor leisure, while you relax brew up a cup of coffee to start the day! Everything within the rooms is brand new and you will love the modern look of the bathrooms. Enjoy the view and make some brew.

Bring your skates and stick! Lake Harold located on resort property is a destination for ice skating and hockey in the winter! Weather permitting we (the bride since the groom flunked out of learn to skate) would love to see you out there for some pick up hockey!

Feeling adventurous? There are many snowmobile rentals and tour options in the area! If you have your own sleds - Owl's Nest trails are on&nbsp;Corridor 11&nbsp;and they are a part of the Central NH Snowmobile Club. You can park at Campton Town Hall and make your way into the resort via RT. 11 from the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.owlsnestresort.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/IMG_9458.jpg" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">trailhead</a>

Snowmobiling Rentals & Tours 

Around the resort, you’ll find many public trails, including our cart paths! Snowshoeing is a popular activity during the winter our paths allow guests to explore the vast 600 acres of the resort. Enjoy a walk on a bluebird day or under a star-lit sky and surround yourself in the snowy White Mountains. Owl's Nest does not offer snowshoe rentals on property, BUT our friends 5 minutes down the road at Ski Fanatics do.

Snowshoeing & Crosscountry Skiing

Looking for a majestic winter sleigh ride in the beautiful Franconia Notch area? Roughly 30 minutes from the resort is Franconia Notch Stables, offering a traditional one-horse sleigh that holds up to 4 adults. Take a ride with the whole family or enjoy a private romantic ride through the snowy trails – making the perfect memory to take home!
